2017年南開大學新材料國際人才論壇通知
南開大學材料科學與工程學院成立于南開大學新校區啟用之際，以建成具有國際水準的高端材料學科平臺為目標，以“高起點、有特色、體制新”為建設原則，努力打造人才培養、科學研究、技術應用與服務社會的新高地。作為新成立學院，材料科學與工程學院急需引進人才，加強師資隊伍建設，加快材料學科發展。
2017年南開大學新材料國際人才論壇將于4月23-25日在南開大學津南校區舉行，旨在促進海內外青年學者之間的交流，匯聚優秀人才加盟南開材料。
一、論壇主題
本次論壇設材料化學、材料物理、計算化學三個分論壇。涉及新能源材料、催化材料、新型碳材料、納米材料與器件、光電轉換材料、光子學材料與器件、智能材料與器件、生物醫用與仿生材料、功能高分子材料、信息功能材料、生態環境材料等研究領域。
二、申請條件
已獲得博士學位，具有海外科研經歷，在材料相關領域取得突出科研成果，且具較強學術發展潛力的優秀青年科學家。
三、申請程序
申請人請在3月31日前將申請材料發送至郵箱：wangfeng7021@nankai.edu.cn 。申請材料包括：
1、2017年南開大學新材料國際人才論壇申請表（見附件）
2、中英文簡歷（簡歷中需標明出生年月）
3、所有發表論文列表（請將以第一作者或通訊作者身份發表的論文與其他合著論文分開，分別按發表時間逆序排列）
4、五篇代表作全文
通過遴選的申請人將在4月5日前收到正式邀請函。
四、日程安排
4月23日：報到
4月24日上午：開幕式
4月24日下午-4月25日上午：論壇學術報告
4月25日下午：閉幕式
五、交通及食宿
主辦方統一安排會議期間的食宿（免費）；同時為參會者提供差旅補助（海外學者最高1500美元），請參會學者自訂機票，并保留登機牌。

World Talent Forum on Advanced Materials
April 23 to 25, 2017，Nankai University, Tianjin, China
NanKai University, School of Materials Science and Engineering was established with the mission of building an internationally renowned Institution of Material Science, with“high starting point, unique focus, and innovative structure”. We aim to be best in class in education, research and technology, and in serving our community. The newly established school is in great need of talented scholars to build a great team of faculty and accelerate the development of materials science.
The School of Materials Science and Engineering in Nankai University invites outstanding young scholars to join World Talent Forum on Advanced Materials from April 23 to 25, 2017. This forum will focus on multiple subjects, including materials chemistry, materials physics, computational materials science or other related areas.
Qualified attendees should possess PhD degrees, have oversea research experience, and have made exceptional scientific discoveries in materials science or relate areas, or hold great potential to advance new frontiers of materials research.
Applicants are required to send necessary documents to the email: wangfeng7021@nankai.edu.cn for review before March 31, 2017. These documents include (1) The Application Form For World Talent Forum on Advanced Materials(see attached). (2) Chinese and English resumes (birthdays should be included). (3) All the published papers. Please separate the papers in which the applicants serve as first authors or corresponding authors from other co-authored papers. All the papers should be arranged in reverse chronological order. (4) PDFs of the five most important papers authored by the applicants. Official invitation letters will be emailed to successful applicants by April 5, 2017.

Schedule at a glance
Nankai University will cover expenses of accommodation during the forum, as well as the costs of travel (up to 1500 dollars for international scholars). Attendees are required to book the flight tickets by themselves, and keep the boarding passes for the reimbursement purpose.
